  • 6 October 1984: The series begins on weekends, showing a complete story episodically.
  • 27 April 1985: The series in omnibus format screens Saturdays at 11:30pm.
  • 23 November 1986: Mayor Anne Rudin declares today to be Doctor Who Day in Sacramento as Colin Baker visits the Red Lion Inn.
  • 21 March 1987: The Deadly Assassin screens. Half-way through, the story stops for a pledge break. (See below)
  • 3 October 1987: Peter Davison begins.
  • 30 January 1988: The Colin Baker stories begin.
  • 16 April 1988: Sylvester McCoy begins.
  • 14 May 1988: William Hartnell premieres.
  • 24 September 1988: The Patrick Troughton stories begin.
  • 5 November 1988: The complete Jon Pertwee package begins airing.
  • 17 December 1988: A special evening features the first episodes of Doctors 4, 5, 6 and 7.
  • 1990s: KVIE produces its own on-air introductions for the Hartnell and Troughton episodes, featuring station staff and volunteers, usually in costume. Often the intros explained what had happened to the regular characters in the stories that could not be screened (i.e they were missing or incomplete).
  • 1992: The series ends with The Tomb of the Cybermen and Resistance is Useless.
