Formerly a colony of Portugal (until 1999), MACAU is now a special administrative region of China. Portuguese and Cantonese are the official languages, while a quarter of the population speak English as a secondary language.

It's likely that one or both of the Peter Cushing Dalek movies was shown there, as films with Chinese subtitles were often sourced from Hong Kong, where each had played in 1969 and 1974.

A local television service didn't commence until 1984, but prior to then, TV signals could be received from China, as well as nearby Hong Kong. Chinese TV used the NTSC colour format, while Hong Kong was PAL.

Hong Kong's Rediffusion station RTV transitioned from cable to terrestrial broadcasts in April 1973; those transmission signals would have reached Macau. From June 1973, a further run of black and white Jon Pertwee episodes of Doctor Who began airing (albeit in English only). When RTV switched to a full PAL service and aired colour Pertwee and Tom Baker stories in the mid- to late-1970s, those signals would not have been compatible with all TV receivers used in Macau.

The Target novelisations that were translated into Portuguese in the early 1980s may have been available in Macau. (A copy of "Doutor Who e os Daleks" is held by the Biblioteca Publica de Macau - Catalogue HERE - but that may be a special acquisition rather than one that was purchased locally.)
